Karen Vance

Karen has been licensed in British Columbia since 1998 and took over day-to-day management of Northbend in 2016. Her own book of business leans commercial, including strip retail, small office buildings, and the occasional four-to-twelve unit apartment block, and she still writes deals alongside the team rather than sitting purely in an admin seat. Agents at Northbend tend to describe her as the person you call when a deal is halfway to collapsing. She sits on the brokerage’s compliance review and personally signs off on every trust disbursement. Outside of work she coaches a junior curling league at the Kelowna Curling Club and has been trying, unsuccessfully, to retire from that for six years.
